69: A Nice Card Game. About Numbers.

69 is a fast-paced card-matching game for 2 to 6 players. The rules are simple enough for any age, but for some reason, players below a certain age wouldn't stop giggling when we demoed it, so we recommend playing only with serious, mature adults. The 69 deck is mostly made up of number cards (0-9), in six suits. The 6 and 9 of each suit are interchangeable. Use them for whichever number you want, depending on which side is up. There are also three wild cards (with three of each in the deck): Wild: a simple wild card that can count as any number and suit. Lock: a wild card that also stops another player from stealing your cards. Scramble: a wild card that lets you rearrange everything on the table. How to play: Deal: Every player starts with ten cards, and the dealer flips one card face up on the table. Play: On your turn, try to play cards from your hand onto cards on the table to make a stack. The cards in a stack need to all have different suits, and need to be either all the same value or form a run (cards in numerical order). Punt: If you can't play a card from your hand, pick up the top card from the deck and play it. Form a stack if you can (and want to), or leave it on the table to start a new stack. Capture: If a stack gets three or more cards, you capture it! Take the cards and put them face down in front of you...unless someone steals it! Steal: If another player can add legal cards to your completed stack, they can steal it from you...unless someone else steals it from them! Score: Once someone plays the last card from their hand, the round is over. Score points for every card you captured, and lose points for every card left in your hand.
