Death Fields Arena: Rules

THE GREATEST SPORT IS WAR: ENTER THE DEATH FIELDS ARENA A Galaxy of Immortal Warriors For thousands of years, advanced alien civilizations have visited Earth to steal its bravest warriors. These soldiers are taken to fight, die, and be reborn in arenas throughout the galaxy for the amusement of thousands of systems. Whether you lead the elite Les Grognards or the desperate dregs of a Cannon Fodder team, your warriors are assets in a cutthroat business where victory is the only path to prestige. Death Fields Arena is a fast and furious 28mm sci-fi skirmish game that puts you in the role of a team owner in the galaxy’s most popular—and most brutal—entertainment circuit. These rules are completely free to play. To get started, simply download this rulebook, grab a box of Death Fields miniatures, and prepare your team for battle. Tactical Depth and Strategic Gameplay Continuous Activation: Move away from traditional round structures; players alternate activating single models in a free-flowing phase that mirrors the chaotic nature of the arena. The Stress System: Manage mental fatigue as a critical resource; Stress acts as a negative modifier to combat and movement, forcing you to balance aggression with tactical recovery. Lethal Combat Mechanics: Utilize a streamlined d10 system where low stats are generally better, featuring nuanced rules for Shield Saves, Armour Piercing, and Knock Backs. Dynamic Terrain Interaction: Master a battlefield where elevation provides crucial force multipliers and every obstacle can be utilized as a Defensive Position to block or deflect incoming fire. Competitive Match Play: Engage in high-stakes scenarios designed to test your tactical limits, from the shifting objectives of "Tick, Tick... Boom!" to the claustrophobic tension of "Last Man Standing". —description from the publisher
