In The Vortex Line (漩涡航路), players take on the roles of rival pirates navigating a dynamic sea route shaped by rotating tiles. By manipulating vortices and choosing optimal paths, players gather resources, collect treasures, and outmaneuver opponents. Players take turns rotating route tiles and moving ships toward Atlantis Movement is restricted to forward progression along connected locations Manage resources (food, coins, cannons) to enhance movement and actions Engage in raids when ships meet on the same route tile Collect treasures through exploration and treasure maps First player to collect 6 treasures wins Solo Mode: Play against an automa opponent, Blackbeard, with unique behavior rules Adjustable difficulty based on Blackbeard’s starting resources This game is part of the second edition of the 9 Cards series.
