Sovereign: Shōgun – Gaikokujin Expansion

This expansion gives every Daimyō new ways to develop their domain and sharpen their faction identity. Through powerful upgrade options, your clan can grow in more distinct directions, creating even stronger asymmetry between players as the game unfolds. Gaikokujin makes development more meaningful and more personal. Your choices matter not only because of what they unlock, but because access is limited. Every upgrade you claim can shape your strategy, while every upgrade you leave behind may become an opportunity for someone else. The expansion also gives greater importance to the map itself. Where you build, where you secure influence, and which Provinces become part of your domain can open different strategic paths. A good position is no longer only about control. It is about access, timing, and future potential. For players who want deeper faction growth, sharper long-term planning, and even more reasons to watch every decision around the table, Gaikokujin is a powerful gameplay investment. —description from the publisher
