AfrikaKorps '41

Deep in the Egyptian desert, an ancient tomb has been breached and something old and hungry has woken with it. Powered by the award winning Path Unknown system, this is a solo and co op narrative adventure wargame where your heroes find themselves fighting for survival against the restless dead, from shambling Beta zombies up through the Alpha tiers to the terrible Alpha Prime and Omega, alongside other denizens lurking in the dark, water and stone. At its heart is Ka, the spiritual energy that flows through the tomb. You gain it, spend it and lose it, using it to sharpen your aim, shake off wounds, and power the skills that might keep your heroes alive. Combat plays out on a grid, where line of fire, range, cover and the nature of each attack all shape the roll of the dice. The scenario book holds over twenty five scenarios to carry you deep into the tomb, with eight heroes to choose from, each bringing their own strengths to the fight. Scavenge the armoury for weapons, gear and supplies. Manage your Ka. Hold back the tide. And try to find your way out before the tomb claims you too. The deluxe set brings it all to the table with a whole host of miniatures, along with everything you would expect from a Path Unknown game. —description from the designer
