Aberration: Oblivion's Embrace

The corruption eating at the heart of the Bürach Empire has spread to its people, and the night is haunted by more than monsters. At the edge of the village gathers a faceless cult with a simple message for those huddled inside: why fight oblivion when you can embrace it? In Oblivion's Embrace, the Heroes of Etharis face a threat far more insidious than the horde, a creeping ideology that promises surrender is easier than survival. Oblivion's Embrace expands Aberration with 2 fully replayable campaigns built around roguelike progression, meaning no two playthroughs unfold the same way twice. Included is a story that deepens the world of Etharis. The stakes are raised with new monstrosities and hordes that include brand new keyword abilities, standing alongside all-new Villains whose unique powers create fresh tactical puzzles for Heroes to solve. Four new map tiles introduce optional side quests, rewarding thorough exploration with powerful sacred artifacts, self-contained challenges that shake up the core formula and give each session its own distinct rhythm. Together, these additions transform Aberration from a single defensible night into a sprawling campaign where every choice echoes into the next game. —description from the publisher
