Gamonal 1808

Alea Magazine issue 27, along with Balaguer 1938. Simulates the engagement on 10 November 1808 between the French under Soult and Spanish forces under Belveder in northern Spain. Uses the Shadow of the Eagle system (rules available in English), which reproduces simple formation and facing. The game includes 60 double-sided counters which need to be mounted, and a small, 26x26cm map. Game System: - scale = 250m/hex; - time = 20 min/GT; - strength = battaillons (inf), regiments (cav), batteries (art).
