In ブブカ (Bubka), seemingly named after famous Ukrainian pole vaulter, Sergey Bubka, the players are beginning pole vaulters who are bidding on a series of poles to use in their first competition.
Players will earn points for having a series of poles that are close in length at the end of the game. Each turn a pole is auctioned off, and the players have a limited set of chips to bid with, and will not receive change. Players also may not measure the pole on auction and must visually inspect it at a distance.
