Merchant's Solitaire

Using a standard deck of playing cards, players manage their shop's inventory and negotiate trades with customers who arrive with specific demands and offers. Each interaction involves four steps: assessing the customer's offer, crafting a suitable counteroffer from the available items in the shop, verifying the trade's legitimacy, and restocking the shop shelves. Successful trades earn positive feedback from customers, enhancing the player's standing within the guild. However, failure to meet customer demands or declining trade offers can lead to negative feedback, resulting in a loss of guild standing. If a player's standing falls too low, they face immediate removal from the guild. —description from the designer
