Liisa ja Kaarina

Liisa ja Kaarina is an old two player game where two ladies of the house buy groceries, makes dinner and takes care of other household tasks. There are five shops in the board, with their own storage rooms. Shops are Dairy, Meat market, Vegetable market, Sweets shop and General store. To set up the game you will arrange different types of food item tiles in random order in the storages of particular shops. Both ladies get 250 marks as their starting capital. At start of every round both ladies take ten items in pairs of two from the storage and put them in the particular shops, so they can be purchased. When this is done all items in the shops are turned visible. Then the shopping starts. On a turn one lady will by two tiles and puts them in their places on her side of the board. Buying continues as long as at least one lady decides to buy more. Ladies can only buy things they can use to the meals they are making. When ladies don't want to buy more of the food available, new round begins by emptying the shops and then taking food items from the storages to shops again. When all the meals are made, household pet is fed and fire wood have been bought the game ends. Lady of the house with more money left is the winner.
