In Gallery Gambit, players act as rival gallery owners competing over three rounds to curate the most prestigious art collections. The goal is to build three Valid Sets (e.g. consecutive run-in the same suit or cards of the same rank). On a turn, players can optionally discard a card before taking a core action: drafting a card from the shared Market to play into one of their three fixed-capacity Exhibits, playing their hidden Private Collection card, or using a "Gambit" to rearrange their own cards or execute a "Sneaky Trade" with an opponent's incomplete Exhibit. Because a round instantly locks and ends right after one player fills all their Exhibits to capacity, speed is crucial; during scoring, players earn base points for completed Exhibit and compete in "Exhibit Battles" to win extra bonus points for having the superior collection, though any set containing a forgery (a Joker) automatically loses its battle.
