Eagles to Glory: Gross Beeren – August 13, 1813

Gross Beeren is just l7km south of Berlin. The N-S road running through Gross Beeren runs right into the heart of Berlin. The French objective was Berlin. The Prussians were therefore fighting to save their capital. The battle commenced at around 5:00 pm and lasted until 10:00 pm.
