Varkės is a fast-paced card game inspired by the chaotic street trading culture of Lithuania in the 1990s, based on the novel of "Pietinia Kronikas" by Rimantas Kmita. Players become small-time entrepreneurs trying to make money by trading scarce goods, avoiding criminals, bribing officials, and surviving the unpredictable realities of the post-Soviet marketplace.
Each round, players secretly choose goods to bring to market. When all cards are revealed, market demand determines which products can be sold profitably. However, danger is never far away. Some threats can be avoided through bribes, while others must simply be endured.
Sell the goods and see who can profit the most!
