Grenades and Sharpened Spades!

This is a fast‑playing, card‑driven solo or co‑operative skirmish game of tense patrols and daring trench raids. Designed for small‑scale actions across No Man's Land, it captures the uncertainty, danger and close‑quarters chaos of First World War night operations. Players lead a raiding party while defenders, threats and surprises are controlled by encounter cards, creating an experience that plays as much like a role‑playing mission as a wargame. The 70‑page full‑colour rules include cut‑out figures, 2D trench sections, and optional systems for 19th‑century conflicts, supernatural horror, and far‑future battlefields. Figure‑agnostic and easy to start - just 6 D10s and a ruler - these rules let you recreate historical raids or twist them into something stranger, darker, or more advanced. —description from the publisher
