H. G. Wells' Little Wars was the first commercial miniatures wargame rules for hobbyists, published in 1913.
One Page Little Wars is a remake of the game as part of the One Page Rules series of free, simple miniatures rules that fit onto a single page.
Each player commands an "army" consisting of 50 infantrymen, 30 cavalrymen, and 2 pieces of artillery. The players take turns to shoot their artillery, move their figures, and resolve close combat against any enemy their figures have moved into contact with. The close combat rules are very simple and very bloody: essentially each figure fighting kills one enemy.
