Wikinger-Schach

This boardgame consists of a very thick (three-dimensional) board with holes on the sides and on top. The two players try to cross to the other side. The playing pieces are complex units that are put into the holes and interlock with each other when in the same position, but on top and on the side, therefore blocking each other. There are various versions from different kinds of wood and metal.
