La marcha sobre Madrid

La marcha sobre Madrid is a wargame portraying the advance of Nationalist forces from Andalucia to Madrid during the first stages of the Spanish Civil War. The object of this advance was to take the Spanish capital and put a rapid end to the war before the Republican forces could reorganize. The advance failed in the last moment and Spain was doomed to three long years of a cruel civil war. The game is simple to play and portrays the usual mechanics used in the old 70's enriched with a few interesting twists. Game components are a 4-piece puzzle-like map, a 12-page rulebook and 320 counters (two of them blanks).
